Facsimiles of the original handwritten copy of an act to authorize the legislative assembly to punish for contempt and to privilege the members from arrest, dated Nov. 12, 1836; a certified copy from the Secretary of State of a 1925 bill relating to the exchange of state lands for forest, park, and other purposes, the first bill introduced by a woman member, Helen F. Thompson, to be enacted by the Wisconsin legislature; and an oversized photostat copy of an 1838 bill to establish a university at the City of the Four Lakes [Madison], 1838.
